Embracing the New Normal

Welcome to the official website of the AFMA Symposium 2021, which will be held on 18-19 October 2021. Given the current COVID-19 situation, AFMA will be hosting the symposium as a hybrid event giving you the option of attending in-person at the CSIR Convention Centre in Pretoria or online. Registrations for the symposium will open in August 2021.

The Technical Programme Committee has compiled a programme focussing on providing delegates with knowledge and tools to adapt to an ever-changing environment – most recently with advanced technology connecting people worldwide and how this impacts client relationships. Delegates can also look forward to learning about various scientific developments in the continuous focus of producing feed and food as sustainably as possible, especially in light of the global shift to producing meat in an antibiotic growth promoter (AGP)-free way.

The Call for Papers is now open. The submission deadline is Friday, 21 May 2021.
